Logistics

You decide when and where, and we show up. All we need from you is a 6 foot by 6 foot space. This could be an empty room or hallway, or we can even squeeze into people's offices. Our massage chairs have wheels, so moving them is easy. Scheduling can be done by you internally, or you can use our web-based scheduling service. For security and privacy reasons, the scheduling needs to be set up per account. Contact us for details.

Practitioners

John Allen

John was certified as a Therapeutic Massage Practitioner by Body Therapy Center in Palo Alto in 1986. At that time he continued his career as a software engineer, but practiced his touch on weekly trading partners who were full-time massage professionals. In 2003 one of these convinced him he should go professional. He decided to get more advanced training first, which he did at DeAnza College. He now has 868 hours of instruction and will soon take the National Certification test. In 2004 he started doing massage professionally and discovered that he loves doing office massage. So, he decided to hire the best of the other practitioners he knows and start an office massage business.

Miyuki Mori

Miyuki grew up in Japan and learned traditional Anma massage from her father at the age of 3. She was soon the Anma favorite within her family. As an adult in Japan, she studied reflexology and became a practitioner. When her husband's job brought Miyuki to the US, she studied massage at DeAnza College. She has also studied Qigong and Tai Chi and practices them regularly. Her clients say she has a very special touch with warm hands and a calming influence. We are very lucky to have Miyuki as part of our office massage team.

Anthony Cuneo

Anthony came into the field of massage through his work as a therapy aid to practitioners of massage, physical therapy, and occupational therapy. Feeling that he had found his calling in life to help those in pain, he chose to pursue a career in massage therapy while continuing on the path to become a doctor of osteopathy. With more than 800 hours of training in massage and anatomy/physiology, Anthony is an adept therapist, skilled at finding sore trouble spots, the origins of their pain, and the habits that perpetuate them.

Testimonials

Mimi Roosli - Director of Professional Services at Model N

I travel most of the time for business and work in a high stress environment. There is NOTHING better than a truly great massage. (Girlfriends, you know what I am talking about!) John is skilled in many massage techniques (about which I know nothing)--he definitely gives the most relaxing and calming massage I have ever had (believe me, I have had them all over the world)! I think the most important thing with a massage therapist is that they are able to respond to your body (everyone is different) and they not only listen but immediately respond to your specific needs. Because I work in a high stress environment, my muscles are extremely tight, so it takes a gentle hand. I would get a massage every hour of the day from John if I could, but, alas, we all have to work.

Michael Hinds

Recently my neck and left shoulder started bothering me, much more so than my normal occasional tightness. I was experiencing distracting levels of tension and even pain. Several visits to my excellent Chiropractor were not able to provide any lasting relief, leading me to understand that my issue was primarily muscular rather than structural. I called John at the 11th hour. He worked me right away, even though it wasn't convenient for him. John's sensitivity to the state of various muscle groups, ability to apply a variety of techniques, and in particular deep tissue work provided great relief for me. My discomfort was abated, and the range of motion in my neck improved markedly. I've experienced his healing touch on both massage tables and massage chairs. I've known John Allen for years and do not hesitate to recommend him as a serious dedicated professional masseur that really cares about his clients.

Elizabeth Monley - Associate Broker, Windermere SVP, Los Gatos, California

Like many professional people, I carry a great deal of tension in my body through the day. Over the years I have had many massages in an attempt to relieve some of the stress. Not until I had a chair massage with John Allen, did I have my real problem areas addressed and treated in a way that I felt actually spoke to my issues. Throughout the massage, John spoke quietly and applied a wonderfully firm hand or elbow, assuring me that, because this was our first visit, his chief concern beyond offering immediate relief would be to discover my deep tension areas and comfort thresholds. At the end of the session, he provided me with some suggestions for preventing stress through simple stretching exercises. John is now a part of my stress reduction program, and with his regular massage therapy, I suspect stress will not be able to find a home in me!

Susan Allen - Technical Writer at ITM Software Corp.

I have been married to John Allen for more than 17 years, during which I have benefited from his massage training. I have always felt as though John had a particularly healing touch, but since his recent training, I have noticed a qualitative difference in his massage technique. Over a two-month period, he reduced the frequency and severity of the chronic lower back pain I was experiencing. In addition to giving me relief from pain, John works with me to discover what motions may be aggravating my condition and helps me develop new habits and ways of moving. With a combination of massage and breaking old habits, I remain essentially pain free.
